Boy, Ted must have been in a hurry… what startled him into just dropping his pipe and newspaper?

I’m thinking one of his “primal instincts” might be named Beatrice…pretty sure he promised her (again) he’d quit smoking.

Bea, after all, is a formidable lady…and she’d never fit under that porch.

Ted’s been reading the political commentary again. Probably one of the primary instincts.

If it’s like out here, he’ll find he’s under there with a family of skunks. Might dissuade him a bit.

This isn’t Ted’s first foray under the porch. Bea is already calling the Ballard Porch and LampPost Repair facility. Then she’s gonna haul Ted back to see Dr. Wobblesnicker the shrink.

Ted Burroughs has been badgered by his wife Bea Hyve-Burroughs for years !

It began in the days, when he worked as a mole for the CIA, on the Chunnel project.

Ted was always a loner, finding solace in the quietude of his den, while Bea was ever social, flitting from here to there and enjoying the swarm around her.

While Ted has a kind of gopher broke attitude, and really digs the down and dirty, he has developed a fox hole mentality, due to long years in the government.

Bea, on the other hand, is a real honey, combing through the internet to find the sweet things in life.

Theirs is a marriage of opposites. He puts up with her barbs and stinging comments, and she tolerates his urges to excavate and hole up for days in his earthen sanctuaries.

Not bad, but he should take lessons from a pro.For example, how many escape holes has he got?

Ted is over reacting.Those trash balloons from North Korea will take days to get over here.
