Like Teddy Sanders, I prefer to take my optimism in incremental segments. I’m even willing to settle for a good 15 minutes or so.
I’ve never been one to consider the glass half-full or half-empty, preferring to savor the contents through my palate rather than with my eyes.
Having reached a certain age, we value those mini-moments of bliss. Those spent in the bathroom can be particularly rewarding. Muting either the television or one’s hearing aids during political rants can also bring momentary peace and serenity.Getting all the questions correct watching Jeopardy can definitely give a boost to the sense of well being. The hour or so spent, rapidly navigating the internet without mishap or delay is high on the happiness chart, as is driving home and hitting all the green lights.A good glass of single malt Scotch or Irish whiskey certainly rates a plus. And of course visiting all my friends on Ballard Street tops the list of magic moments, making magnificent memories for me….which ain’t easy to do since I have CRS ( Can’t Remember Shi Stuff ) !
I feel better this morning than i did last night, but not as good as yesterday morning.…i thought that chiropractors were supposed to make you feel better…
I am certainly enjoying the beautiful weather we are having in the PNW. No rain until next week. There is a sun! Last Rose – that bedroom is very colorful! Linguist – please tell me you haven’t ever gotten all the questions correct on Jeopardy. I can’t even get most of them when they have the little kids. Happy – if you win the lottery, remember all your great friends here..

Time is relative to the observer but happiness is volume times percentage alcohol divided by the coefficient of friction.

If we just take life 30 minutes at a time, I guess we can find some good intervals. Nice to appreciate them like Teddy.
