Yes, celebratory circles are best. Weaving down the street just doesn’t make it.

Admirable (I guess)how his wife and dog indulge him on the porch.

Scooter’s thinking, “If he keeps this up much longer, I’m gonna go out and bite his leg again.”

    Gosh…. sorry I’m late, everybody…

I had a bunch of stuff to do…

Sorry to leave you all alone with the crowd Fenton…..

seems like a lot of people need a respite from Christmas shopping….and especially Christmas shoppers.

Hi X, and Dog, and Dennis ….what’ll it be?

And Red, if you were looking for me…

I only just saw your message a little while ago… sorry….

    But I’m here now… right?

Do you need a little break, Fenton?

Glad to see Neal in a celebratory mood…

He’d been a bit down lately:

    Mornin’ Ballardeers !

    .

A little note to self: Do not ever again go Christmas Shopping with First Maite on La Frontera or at Ballard’s Bizarre Bizaar the week before Christmas !

    .

No greater test of love and patience exists ! Especially, if First Maite is searching for a “perfect” dress and shoes to wear to a special social function !!

    .

That mission combined with our " Santa’s " list for family, friends.and neighbors in need, took what should have been a relaxing in the hammock weekend for the ole Capt., into an exhausting trek into insanity – battling the thundering hordes and manic masses, every muscle aching step of the way.

    .

You all know how crazy Ballard’s Bizarre Bizaar can be on a normal weekend but even Sherif(Don’tFergitMe)MunkyBluz had a hard time controlling the crowd.

    .

For those of you who don’t know La Frontera, it is a wide open border city, Huaquillas,in Ecuador that merges into the town of Aguas Verdes, Peru. Think of it as a humungous open market with people ( and traffic ) wandering freely across the border in search of bargains – especially cheap clothes and electronics. It is always crowded with shoppers and " bargain hunters "( like myself ) but before Christmas it was ridiculous !

    .

Thank goodness the Tiki is open this morning. I’m going to need a little somethin’ – somethin’ in my coffee ! Just to soothe my shattered nerves..

Who knew “treating with kid gloves” could be so literal? (Well, his doctor did.)

Phew…I just got all my Christmas shopping done. I went to Ballard’s Bizzarre Bizaar. the crowds were huge, just Huge.

OH NO, I forgot Dennis, Susan, and Ling. If you don’t hear from me please send in a rescue team………now do you suppose Susan would like a pair of those purple socks? You know the ones with the oranges on them? They might be a little hard to get into shoes tho…….

    &nbsp

I just know Dennis would like a toy Sail Boat, altho it is 14 feet long….I wonder if they would strap it on the car for me.

Ling needs new beef mugs and I say some that had sayings at the bottom….maybe not, the sayings were kinda,,,,well….er….never mind.

When my crew came a callin’

    Twas you, did the haulin’

    .

Seems like you were smitten with my Second ( and a half ) Mate, Pegleg Paderewski, the piano playing pirate, and signed up to work below decks as an oar…er…rower when we we becalmed

And let’s be fair, I only water ski behind the life boat !

Pegleg Paderewski, the former piano playing pirate, picked up the piccolo, probably planning performances in Piccadilly Palladium, with poorly paid, Peruvian pan pipers. .
