For years Art loved and cared for the chair but one day it just went off the rail.

It never liked him either. Ever since Aurthur stood on it to hang up the wind chimes. That chair really hates wind chimes.

Arthur’s other seat is about a mile from Edinburgh Castle and is somewhat more durable.

    I’m already free, Rose!

I haven’t been able to keep up with the posts and emails … but I’m trying hard to let people know.

Thank you all, for your messages of support….

to me, to the mods, and here in the forums.

Now the problem is, they’ve apparently banned x_Tech for trying to help me!

He never posts anything objectionable, so it would have to be that.

He posted here a few minutes ago, but you can’t see it…

unless you look on his profile: http://www.gocomics.com/profile/1353716

if it doesn’t become visible here on Ballard Street sometime tomorrow, then he’ll need our help, too, please!

Some have suggested that GoComics might have recently implemented a system for automatically banning people who are flagged, until the posts can be checked by a mod. That could be what’s going on….

but if x_Tech’s posts don’t show up, please please write to the moderator yet again. Thanks!

    It was inevitable…..

Arthur and his chair spent so much time together….

they were so very close…. yet basically…. you know…. somewhat physically incompatible…

It was bound to end with one of them falling to pieces.

    Superfrog… and others who’ve been asking…..

AFAIK, I didn’t commit any crime…. no offensive posts, no arguments, NOTHING that seems to me should have been a problem.

I’m waiting for GoComics to let me know if there was something… but as I’m no longer blocked they’ll probably figure they don’t need to tell me.

My feeling is, it may have actually been a glitch… just a big “Oopsie!”

Since it just happened Sunday morning and today, Monday, was a holiday, when usually the mods would be off,

I’m leaning towards believing that theory that GC have installed new, more automatic, monitoring software…

reacting to flags, but unable to discern content until the moderators are back at work.

So just maybe somebody wanted to make trouble for me, for no reason at all, and flagged me a few zillion times to trigger a ban. There are people like that out there.

But in that case, I’m not sure why I was freed before Tuesday.

Now I just want to see x_Tech back, too, since his “crime” seems to be helping me.

    Meanwhile… thanks Tony…..

    and everybody else, again.

My thoughts on Susan Sunshine’s ban (BTW Susan, Welcome back!), are that someone flagged her for off-topic comments – the exchanges about where Beviek and StelBel are. Ironically, said person had to make off-topic comments in order to express displeasure aboutSusan’s. S/he thinks that such comments belong only on social media not in the GoComics comment sections.

IMO – if you know someone makes comments that YOU don’t like, scroll on by and get over it.

Arthur and his chair got along fine until there was a falling out. Personally, I think Scooter and Ginger decided to make “adjustments” to Arthur’s chair, since he contiually chased them off of it. Paybacks are a stinker, ain’t they Arthur?

I really don’t blame Arthur for hating that chair. What grown up man wants to sit on a purple painted porch perch ?

Arthur and Chair have a his-try,

so why this occurred is no mys-try.

    He called the Chair dumb,

    and Chair bit his bum,

    now Arthur inspects his artis-try…

I, on the other hand, am getting on a plane tonight. We’re going to Las Vegas (again).

We have new renters and have to check on the house, i,e, making sure the last renters didn’t make off with the interior. And yes, we could have a property manager, but have you met my husband? lol
