It’s either a Soapbox Derby or a squirrel hunt. Either way Lester has the honor of sitting “in the cat-bird seat”, as it were. And he looks pretty excited about it. I guess he drew the long straw.

But she’s very fond of “Marty”, as she likes to call it.

It just so happens I was looking at some fur stuff on eBay not long ago….
and people call everything fox or mink…
whether it’s marten or lynx, sable or seal, it doesn’t matter.
I think all the identifications that meant so much when one kind was way more expensive than another are being lost.
The listings even say things like “Genuine fox fur mink stole”!
Of course, to the dogs….
they’re all squirrels, unless they’re cats.
And as for brakes, or steering….
let’s see if it makes it through this run.
