OK, I’ll never be the consummate baker that Susan is, but I did try to duplicate the cake I made for her back in 2015.(There’s a “map” on the table directing you to your favorite flavors…just start cutting in the back at first.)And, please….PLEASE…..don’t mistake it for a pile of pillows. This means YOU, Monkey!

Wow, it’s just as beautiful as I remember!

The detail is incredible… the butterflies even move….

And the sparkle….

 

Gosh, Stel…. and to think you had to do all that work over again….

We ate the whole thing up in one night, the last time…..

(After you convinced me it really _was cake, and you weren’t trying to trick me into taking a bite of feathers.)

 

It probably took you longer than that to fill and bake all those cake molds, turn them out, and frost, stack and decorate so many parts.

And now you’ve done it all again.
