That could be because Norma uses so much starch on his pants that he can’t even sit all the way down.

Norman fancies himself an adventurer. He seeks conflict and high drama.

Resistance is futile.

He knows that the morning is just trying to get him to let his guard down.

I believe that Norman has raised himself up for a epic breaking of wind, topped off by a finger/mouth pop. No silent, one-cheek sneak this time.

Norman forgot he had just painted that chair…!

Norman knows if he gives in to peace and tranquility, next he’ll be listening to sitar music and wearing essence of patchouli.

Gonna get in trouble. Resisting a rest.

He just knows that Scooter is out there… waiting…

Norman knows that when Norma wakes up she’s gonna come out with the broom. It was an honest mistake, he did not mean to kiss Agness on the lips but the gin made him do it.

It’s a losing battle.

Norman knows that just because he’s paranoid, it doesn’t mean they’re not out to get him.

Norman notices it’s quiet out there — too quiet!

Don’t trust anyone. Least of all a nice morning.

Norman knows the peace and tranquility is a mere illusion. Soon, the natural order will resume and disaster isn’t far away. I have empathy with Norman.

Norman resists the calm before the storm. Norman lives for the storm.
