And Phideaux stays ever vigilant for squirrels, cars, and falling leaves.

Considering the sling and the bandage, I don’t know if “ever” vigilant is entirely accurate.

A choke chain collar might be required for training purposes.

That seriously looks like a suicide grip on the leash! If Wallace falls, he’d surely want to be able to turn loose.

Wallace needs to let Phideaux know who’s the boss.

Oh, okay. Phideaux really is the boss.

The evidence indicates he has good reason.

Lesson learned and he now leaves the skateboard at home…

That’s my new girl. Walks are extra exercise with her.

Offhand Wallace was not vigilant enough given the recent damage. He would do well to carry a quick release anchor on his back.

Back before the plague, there was a month when both a friend & my Sister (who was on the other end of the state), ended up on crutches, due to dog walking incidents.

In Robert Rankin’s books, an old guy at the bar has a dog whose breed appears to be “lurcher”.

Troy, our Sheltie, has the same propensity.

I have to say, I’m very impressed that several of you know the dogs name including proper spelling! I thought it was Mileaux
