And from that day forward, Mildred has been the most graceful person on Ballard St.

It’s the first of Mildred’s two (porch) step program.

Pretty succinct from Mildred. I liked it. I try to use the maxim “Treat Others as You hope They will treat You.” I think pretty much every faith tradition has a phrase saying basically that same sentence. And honestly, I don’t care if you have no faith tradition, that’s a pretty good guide to a long and a “good” life.

Most people in the world don’t have indoor plumbing. So I guess we’re all prosperous.

Or neither.

If the universe knows what’s good for it.

O Lord, please don’t cancel me this season!
