He’ll fall into it sooner or later

Rascal is thinking that Roy would eventually remember that uneven spot in the sidewalk, after all they have been going this way for the last five years.

Rascal is embarassed to be seen walking with Roy.

I think he’s fallen on Rascal more than once. Poor Doggie, he’s thinking " if I could just undo this dang collar, I could go and see Little Miss Millie High Maintenance " …but no…

I can brag that I’m much better than Roy. I can trip on sidewalks without even multitasking.

Those extreme pointed shoes are intimidating, but not particularly practical. Those toes will catch in even the tiniest sidewalk cracks. and Roy has impaled himself more than once.

Roy is going on a short trip.

No one I’ve ever seen is able to multi-task. Actually saw a guy driving with a newspaper draped on the steering wheel. Scary!

It was the chewing gum that really “tipped the scales” against Roy.

I used to be able to read and walk at the same time. Drove my husband nuts.

Now everybody does that with their phone.

What I have noticed about multitasking is that the only time it “works” is when someone is able to do multiple similar tasks one-at-a-time in a very organized way. If they try to do tasks that require the same sense at the same time, it is bound to fail, as in try to watch TV at the same time you try to read.

Roy is now reading “Ballard Street” in the comics and seeing himself trip, as he and Roscoe enter the Twilight Zone.

“Step on a crack, break your mother’s back.”

“Trip on a crack, puts you out of whack…”

There’s the old saying…Have a nice trip see you next fall.

You can see in Rascal’s eyes that this is not the first time.. it’s a “Lord here we go again” look.

Nobody really is.

Even his dog knows that!

And Rascal will be flatter than the proverbial pancake. (How come I never get to name the dog???)

Obviously, Roy should stick to tasking. The whole multitasking thing is beyond him.

Roy is the precursor of texting while walki g or driving.

No, Roy is doing a great job at multitasking. He’s walking his dog, reading the paper, and proving that gravity is not just a theory.
