Edmund will have to give Mr. Vanderhoof a very generous ‘gift’ he wants that to pass his building inspection.

Edmund must also enjoy squirrels, chipmunks and other visitors.

And optional exits when he wants to bypass Selma and sneak out to the Tiki for a Singapore Sling…or three.

That reminds me — I was going to have him build us a fire-escape catapult system…

It looks like a trip hazard, and it lacks pulleys.

Coming through an open window is okay I guess. It’s his coming up through the crawl space that’s a bit unnerving.

Hope Edmund enjoys splinters and bruising – his current effort needs a number of knee braces.

“This is for ingress and egress, dear.”

Edmund’s really stepped up his game.

A man of many talents. This engineering marvel will come in handy when you need to sneak in or out. That little pad on the top is a nice touch, a place to rest and consider the next move, going in or out.

Ha! Everyone needs a good exit strategy.

Just think of what Edmund can accomplish after he joins the Pulley Club.

I’m betting he has a cat. Optional entryways are very “cat”.

It wood be better if he didn’t.

…but carpentry doesn’t enjoy Edmund.

That looks very dubious to me. How does Edmund manage to fit through the window?
