Rosemary was crying when Gretel attacked them, I seem to remember. Knitting that sweater is the only useful thing she’s done. I’d still like to know how she created the knitting needles? Anyone with any ideas on the subject?
Bamboo knitting needles? Maybe she made a crochet hook out of a bone from a dead seagull – OR she’s discovered there’s a small village at the other end of the island with a craft shop.
The important point is that everyone is contributing- no matter how lame it might appear at the time. Even in a tropical climate, a good sweater can come in handy.
Even before the final panel, all I noticed was that hideous thing Tom was wearing. I couldn’t understand why he would wear something like that until the final panel when I realize he doesn’t want to criticize the only helpful thing Rosemary has ever done.
Of course seeing as Scotty is sitting in his underwear, I’m not really sure how “helpful” a sweater is at that particular moment.

Rosemary didn’t seem to pose much of a threat to Gretel when Gretel and Scotty attacked her and Tom.

The knitting needles don’t bother me as much as where the wool came from? Did Rosemary skin a few rats?
