just thinking about the sound of a circular saw cutting down a chain-link fence gives me the willies…

    No Chuck, you really can’t.

Give the thought up. Accept Banks’ help.

ElDo, Sounds like a Sawzall would solve a few problems I’ve had myself. You wouldn’t believe what’s within the walls of an 1886 house (lead joints, abandoned gas pipes, dropped chunks of coal or pieces of glassware, rusty cast-iron, you name it - they must all be built by Chuck’s great-grandfather!).

But is Barkeater Lake modern enough to have a Sawzall? I doubt Banks, who knows everything and is always prepared, would want to encourage this sort of project by importing one …

Actually, a Sawsall doesn’t have a circular blade. It is a reciprocating saw, where the blade goes back and forth, kinda like a handsaw. It is VERY powerful, though.

I am not an expert, so I had to Google this to make sure.

Chain-link fence, you don’t want a circular saw. You want a chain saw.

    Nice LuvH8…..

Actually tho, you could use a circular saw. You just need the right ‘blade’ for it.

A chain saw for a chain link fence…

I can live without your logic, but your humor is priceless… :)

Sounds like we’re getting too technical for Chuck, for sure!
