Nah, real mom will spoil her with lavish gifts and permissive behaviour so that step mom appears to be the Wicked Witch of the West when she has to apply discipline to correct the damage done by real mom.
I’m more with shytimes on this, Neo. Rhonda will TRY to poison Cynthia against Lucretia, but Cynthia will likely see through it (for the most part).
On the other hand, I expect we’ll probably get a glimpse of Rhonda’s good side as well. If she’s horrible (in our eyes), then Barney is (in retrospect) too perfectly justified in having dumped her for Lucretia. In the interests of character development and realism, it’s better for all to have both positive and negative traits (like Lucretia; when she was introduced, she seemed like nothing more than a Trophy Wife; although she’s STILL that, she’s also now considerably more).
