FYI. When they were coming up for a name for Steed’s new partner, (RIP Patrick Macnee) they wanted her to have “Man Appeal.” Later, it was shortened to M. Appeal. Finally, they came up with Emma Peel which fit Diana Rigg perfectly. Nes Pas? Pardon my French.
She should have said it was for horseback…then when the bridle and bit and spurs and really odd pony tail thingy and such turn up she won’t need to explain further.
