@Egrayj, that is Alice from Richard Thompson’s “Cul-de-sac.” Thompson discovered he had Parkinson’s disease after only a few years of drawing the strip; he passed away a few weeks ago. It was a tremendous blow; “Cul-de-sac” was widely considered the best new strip since “Calvin and Hobbes.”

Excellent tribute.

I am really shocked and sad to read about the death of Richard Thompson. As someone who also has Parkinson’s it some how unnerves me as reading about someone dies from the same disease. RIP Richard.
