My father-in-law would always call me about anything his doctor said or prescribed. I was constantly getting a list of his ailments to diagnose “to make sure his doctor was competent”. I tried to explain that my doctorate is in Quantum Mechanics not medicine but he was adamant that a doctor is a doctor is a doctor!
Every profession gets them. I was an LEO and when I was in a restaurant or gassing up my vehicle while in uniform, I’d get people wanting to argue their last ticket or points of law for cases that weren’t even in my jurisdiction. My partner and I were in a restaurant once when some lady came up to me and wanted me to threaten her kid with arrest if he didn’t finish his lunch. I read her off for scaring the kid. I did it right in front of the kid so he could hear me tell her that making her kid afraid of the police was an awful and irresponsible thing to do to a kid. Kids should be able to talk to cops without some unreasoning fear instilled by an idiot parent. She wanted to complain to my boss and so I gave her my name, badge number and the contact information. Never heard another word about it.

Poor thing. I hope the vet doesn’t make her leave wearing a “cone of shame”.

A vet once told me that the really good students get into vet school. The rest go to medical school.

Tech guys get that too. If someone knows you’re good with computers, sooner or later, you’re gonna get asked to look at their iPhone or Playstation.
