I’ve heard from a former homeless person that homeless people face a lot of boredom, but that doesn’t mean they have all the time in the world on their hands. I’m sure they move around a lot, whether because opportunities open up or because they’re unwelcome wherever they are.
When you are living at the bottom it is much like other life forms whose sole imperatives are survival and reproduction. People living on the street are only interested in having enough to eat and a safe place to sleep.
