That’s a very nice staircase and railing for an attic entry. I suppose at that wealth level ‘attic’ means ‘uppermost floor’.

So Cynthia and her family are OK with a friend visiting at this point.
I had to wait until I was tall enough to grab the handle to pull the attic stairs down and strong enough to catch them and unfold them. So it wasn’t until I was in my tweens before I got to play in the attic.
