Looking it up, I see that National Boss’s Day was October 16th.

My workplace is very different from this one, but I can’t imagine getting my boss a gift or even a card, and I actually like him. Just seems inappropriate from an employee to an employer. If he wants to get me something, though, that would be acceptable.

As if every workday (and often many others) isn’t a “Boss’s Day”!

And who decides that any that any particular day is “[such and such] Day”, anyway, if it’s not an official governmental holiday?

Is there an organization — widely recognized, even if not governmental, — that grants approval to such “Day” declarations, or can I follow “Talk Like a Pirate Day” by declaring a different date (or maybe even the same one?) to be “Crawl Like a Spider Day”?

$1000.00 for a bosses gift. Are you crazy. Is he holding your parents hostage or something?…..

Will someone kindly remind me why Ms. Foxx isn’t running that company.

She’s not running the company because she doesn’t have the knowledge or experience……or the money to own it. She does have common sense that others don’t at times, and she seems to be in charge of laying on the guilt trips. She handles them at works and Cynthia at home. Always a guilt trip for Barney!
