I’ve been to Las Vegas three times, had a good time each time. I have yet to so much as put a quarter in a slot machine. I’m not particularly virtuous, I just see a bunch of air-conditioned buildings, electric signs, and water in the middle of the desert and figure somebody’s paying for that.
I gambled in a casino once. A friend and I were driving across the country for the fun of it and we stopped in Reno cuz neither of us had ever seen a casino around midnight. I spent an hour playing blackjack and won $20 towards gas money. My friend just watched. We left and drove all night to San Francisco.

If they would allow it, that’s what I would do, too. Never gambled in a casino before, however, and don’t see the attraction.

Used to go back in the 70s and early 80s when the mob ran a lot of the casinos. Once the corporations took them over the thrill was gone.

I once gamboled in a casino. They threw me out.

Used to go to Vegas and Reno for trade shows, played black jack and slots once each. The roller coaster was the best. People watching interesting.

The only way to reliably double your money in casinos is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
