    Yakima? Well, I suppose somebody has to live there and produce apricots. And there’s that store/museum in Union Gap that’s worth visiting. Otherwise a gas stop between Boise and Seattle.

    Tumble weeds are very prickly. Good for you for knowing that the seeds cam over in the grain carried by Russian immigrants. They are not native to the Southwest.

    Hops, but lot of apples, and now grapes.It’s the fresh apricots I love the most. I just had some for breakfast, unfortunately canned.
