But why does the copyright date say 2014?
Yeah, is this a rerun, or what? :D
^I’ll wait until Scott catches up.
I don’t know if you missed the joke I was making, or I’m missing one you’re making….
I don’t know what’s funnier – today’s strip or the comments.
See today’s New Adventures of Queen Victoria!
It still says 2014 as a copyright date!
Are you still talking about this?© 2014 J. R. ShortI knew you weren’t finished discussing this. So, in anticipation, I wrote my question last year.
Plus, you can get weeks of comic strips with only a single gag.
So why does almost every other comic strip I bring up have ©2015 starting yesterday? They were all created weeks in advance too.

LOL, Scott! Love the re-use of artwork on this one. It adds to the joke. Lazy indeed!(This comment © 2015)
Instead of navel staring every new year, I do this staring at a C inside a circle. Thanks for that, as I never pay any attention the rest of the year.
I really think he just reruns the same cartoon every year and goes on vacation. I’m just to lazy to check it.
Scott, here’s a solution: Make the copyright notice so small, the readers can’t read it, even if they enlarge it… wait… lazy… reusable strips… right, got it… never mind.
I sure hope your spelling was a joke, since it was spelled correctly 4 times in the comic and 5 times in the comments before yours.
But if you’re putting 2014 on a strip you’ve used before 2014 to explain why it doesn’t say 2014 on it, wouldn’t that be dishonest?
Hey Baldy, why copywrite this junk anyway…no one would steal it…© 2015
Isn’t this 2015? Why does it say 2014?
On my laptop if I hold “ALT” while keying in 0169 on the number pad I get ©.
