My advice to all of you is, NEVER AGREE TO BE AN EXECUTOR!! EVER!!!!First off, the only person who will appreciate your labors is DEAD.Second, the benefactors will constantly call you to demand their cut NOW, never mind the requirements of the legal system.Third, the benefactors will object to everything and anything you do, refusing to sign legally required paperwork, and then get you to agree to waive compensation, so you get nothing.DO NOT under any circumstances agree to be an executor!

Isn’t the executor allowed to pay himself a salary and costs? That should ease the pain somewhat.
