MY wife was Puerto Rican and she never put cheese in her coffee and neither did anyone in her family. Now some of them did put coffee in their milk and sugar.
Why drink coffee if you use more milk than coffee and 6 teaspoons of sugar for a mug in order to make it palatable to you. I like my coffee strong and black. (I like my women strong too, but could not care less about their color.)
The French put mayonaise on their fries. I had an uncle who put maple syrup on everything including potatoes, veggies, meat, chicken, fish, EVERYTHING.

I don’t know how he does it so consistently, but it’s always panel 3 that makes me lose it.

In Peru we drank hot chocolate with cinnamon that had a lump of cheese added. It was weird but good

A recent trend is putting butter in coffee. I tried it. It tastes like butter in coffee. I like my creamer with younger cream.

My grandmother (born in 1898 in North Carolina) put cheese in her coffee to melt it. She’d then spoon it out onto her toast.
