I loved the fact that Johnny Hart was a Christian and he was not afraid to let people know through his strip. It is a shame that so many papers refused to run his strips around Christmas and Easter–a lot of people were deprived of his heart felt messages about Jesus. Heaven has gained a wonderful man and earth is much poorer for it. There is no one out there to even begin to compare to Johnny and the strength he showed through his strips.
