Makes you wonder what will happen when one of our “time capsule” spacecraft reaches some other inhabited system.

There was a pretty good answer to your question on Brewster Rockit a while back.

Good thing you asked. Now you can either reconsider or arm yoursef to the teeth ready for conflict.

I’m sure it would be a nicer reception if Peter had used proper grammar. “…my crew and I.

Peter DID use proper grammar… take away the crew: “what awaits… me”

You would be right if the “me” in question was the subject. for example: Jenny and me will go to the store… now take away Jenny “…me will go to the store” is obviously wrong…

That’s all me am going to say about the matter…

After 40 + years of reading this strip..I have concluded, that,……..BC lives in Hawaii, and, the slabs are made of pumice…..

Sazzyann–Being childlike gullible I can readily swallow the floating rock & casting off . But the punctual return to the same beach-box is adamant for me .

Torpedoes? See, I don’t get this. This is supposed to be B.C., right? Cavemen talking and writing in English…sure, I’ll agree to suspend my disbelief that far. But now I’m supposed to just accept that there are torpedoes in this primitive world, too? Well, I won’t accept it. If you ask me, the final panel should be Peter thinking, “What’s a torpedo?” Now that’s humor.
