Hey, gocomics, what gives? This is the fourth time I have had to log in to read my dang comics! It just keeps on going back to the login page! Can we get something done about this!?? Thanks, Jerry
What old Western comic movie had the camels in it? I thought it was Blazing Saddles, but it wasn’t. Sorry, off the subject, but I thought someone out there might know.
Tsali: HAWMPS was the movie. Starred James Hampton, another red-headed comic turned “actor” and was based on the actually army experiment to introduce camels into the cavalry when they hit the desert Indian battles. I actually recall this thing ,too, so you aren’t the only one with a wasted youth. Note: Hampton was, I believe, Mike Fox’s Dad in the Teen Wolf movie and has since been in some Christian movie releases.
Thanks, Freeholder1. Yes camels were introduced to Ft Jefferson Davis in Texas before the War for Southern Independence in which Jefferson Davis became President of the CSA. I am a Confederate reenactor (artillery) and study American history. The name of that movie has puzzled me for a long time.

Maybe. You have to be of a certain age to think of that-
Old enough to have seen it and … Young enough to retain your memory
