MIB
Some time your the bug. sometime you are the windsheld.
He actually crushed it between his shell & a hard place ,Its still a splat though
It had to happen sooner or later, but it’s hard to believe that it couldn’t swerve out of the way of hitting John.
Good Morning, Fellow Cave Dwellers.
Never saw Dire Straights but the first time (out of 3) I saw Eric Clapton walk on the stage with Mark Knopfler, Eric said, “He’s too good for me, I’m just gonna play rhythm”. Didn’t sleep for two days.
As for the terapin (Sp?), how fast was he going?
Can I hear some love for Richard Thompson?(The guitarist/songwriter, not the Cul de Sac cartoonist.)(Although both are among my personal pantheon.)
Thompson was one of the guys Knopfler emulated (I won’t say “copied”) 30 years ago…
Reminds me of the wonderful Gary Larson cartoon where an audience of bugs are watching a horror movie, “Attack of the Killer Windshield”.
he does look rather pleased. Must have happened when he had to make a quick dash to the market for some milk.
When commenting on the mark of a bug on my windscreen "bet he doesn’t have the guts to do that again!
