My Dad was reviewing resume’s once for a job opening. On one, among the applicant’s skills, was listed ‘Excellent proodreader." Unless it was an attempt at a joke, it couldn’t have been a more effective shot in the foot.
LOL!! I find errors all the time, and now my 8-year old does too. She’s been known to find errors in her elementary school documents, where they have to re-send them home (the name of the school was misspelled. Groan…) I’ve got to agree that errors in a resume are among the worst because you should put your best document forward as proof of your work.

How does he know what spelling is correct? Standardized spelling did not exist before Nathanial Webster published the first Dictionary.

If you’re going to correct someone’s spelling, I suggest you use correct grammar. It is either spelled wrongly or incorrectly.
