with Clumsy shooting arrows, Peter is not standing in the safest place. Neither is Clumsy, for that matter.

I can identify with this strip.

Back in the day when I flew airplanes, I could get my bombs, rockets or whatever within 10 meters of the target. If a 500-lb bomb goes off within 10 meters of you, it will at least get your attention.

The probelm is that I could also make the same claim when shooting small arms: I could only get within 10 meters of the target. Probably the safest place for you to be if I were shooting at you would be to be standing in front of the bull’s eye.

Always share a foxhole with someone who can shoot better than you do.

Needs eye exam and perhaps new glasses?

Gathering is traditionally a woman’s way of contributing to the group…hunting is the man’s…unless you are Alya (sp.) in “Clan of the Cavebear”… ;)
