If he brings a gift every day, then the gift today does not necessarily indicate her birthday — it could just be a random day, causing the little ant to panic unnecessarily. And that could be the case; if it were her birthday the two ants in the original discussion would probably also have gifts, and the question wouldn’t have been asked. What am I missing? Thanks.
You’re overthinking this one. Yes, he should bring a birthday gift as well, or he’ll need to start bringing two gifts a day for forgetting it a second time.
