As long as it doesn’t leak

Life in a mobile home can be difficult at times.

Raindrops keep falling on my head.

If heavy rains/floods come, at least John can move to higher ground, unlike those who choose to establish a homestead on a known flood plain, which gets flooded out year after year.

Ironic cartoon, seeing as the Canadian province of British Columbia ( BC ) is experiencing severe flooding due to heavy rains.

I love listening to rain when I am at home. I love thunderstorms also. Open the windows and stare outside. It opens up your imagination and gets you away from the real world. Just like when I was younger…

LOL! …..close encounters.

That reminds me, I once thought that would be what it be like getting rain on a helmet, but it’s not.

Considering John is sitting in a pool of water, I wonder if his shorts are still dry. That can’t be comfortable.

When I was on the road driving an 18 wheeler, the best sleep I’ve ever had was in the sleeper cab with the curtain closed, the drone of the big diesel engine and rain beating down on the roof of the cab!

Most of us do, though not necessarily through every rain storm…..

Nice.. until the basement gets flooded and the plumbing backs up.

I use to think it was nice until i got a leak in my roof. I got it fixed but it took a while and the whole time I was very nervous when it rained. I don’t think I’ll ever find it relaxing in the same way.

I love the rain, the pitter-patter of rain on the roof. Then comes the thunder and lighting, so so very frightening. I can feel it happeningIt’s Thunder and Lightning, OH YEAH! I tell you it’s frightening, OOOO! HOOO! It’s thunder and lightning And the Wizard is in control.

I hope you’re a turtle that can handle high water and float or swim!!!

There was one circumstance where rain on the roof was far from calming. I worked at a community theatre where the building was not designed by a theatre designer (and believe me, that is important). The building had a metal roof and the contorl booth was right below it. During a heavy rain, we in the booth could barely talk among ourselves much less hear what was happening on the stage.

There are those of us that enjoy the rain, and others that just get wet.
