Now they don’t know if our universe is finite or infinite. If it’s finite, what is just outside of it? Or, if you want to believe in the multiverse, or up to an infinite number of universes, you’ll stop worrying about just ours.
Viking supposedly thought the Earth was flat but they believed the water was in the middle and the land was around the edge which makes a kind of sense because if the water was on the edge why wouldn’t it run off.
