Put that idea on ice

A very chilly in-ground pool!

And in a blizzard it becomes a deathtrap.

All that snow that fell yesterday long seems to have disappeared from the ground. Just a few stragglers seem to be falling today. That must mean it is above freezing so it won’t be long for your igloo to turn into the pool. What maybe 3 or 4 days?

Hybrid housing!

They’ll tax his liquid assets.

Well, he is at least on the right track. Next to a cave, an earth sheltered house is best. Though he’ll need to change his building material.

One of those multi-purpose buildings, I see!

And a moat.

Good thinking…a duel purpose living arrangement.

How ingenious…

And then you drown if you’re in it when it melts.

What an ingenious and well-thawed-out plan!!

Without any of those fishy things around.

Practical idea.

There are materials that change shape with temperature, but I don’t know if any change states from solid to liquid

Genius … half the work, twice the results.

Rube Goldberg would be proud.

I think your going to need a bigger igloo.

I remember as a kid, Ice man delivering big blocks of ice like that…

An igloo is best built with a small hole in the center of the dome.

Just don’t start a big fire in there.

It’s like something from The Red Green Show.

Such nicely formed well-fitting ice plates. It is amazing what those molecular fabricators can do for them.
