When tough times, we ate rabbit.

I curl up with my dog and, petting her, coo, “If times get tough I will eat you.” She gives me that little puppy dog stare….and I think, she knows she can tree a squirrel or two for us both.

Too bad they haven’t discovered agriculture yet.

What do you call a snake who works for the government?

A civil serpent.

A snake walks into a bar. The bartender says, “How did you do that?”

If he thinks that one of them is his only choice for food, he should go hungry for awhile.

Soft heart = empty stomach.

No dino for dinner, then?

I can relate. My son-in-law and I both had antlerless deer tags; but when that doe and her fawn stepped out of the bush, we wasted so much time deciding which would be the most humane to shoot first, that we missed our chance. We avoid the problem now by getting only a standard deer tag.

The first vegan. At least for a day.

Hunters do not think that way, they would take them both out knowing they will be together in the afterlife and everyone eats for weeks.

Mother’s Day is coming up…

You can try for dino veal, but watch out for mama when her baby gets hurt.

The size difference makes it a bit weird!!!!

A good hunter will never take a doe with a fawn. Actually, try to avoid taking any does, period. Happy Mother’s day, right?

It’s odd I see this comic today. I just saw a daddy swan, momma swan, and 7 babies taking a walk in my backyard. The babies are so tiny they still stumble. They went pretty far from the water, but daddy will take care of anything that threatens them. I got some good pictures from inside my house. I don’t mess with swans.

So much for the first half of the designation of early man. If the hunt is a fail, time to gather.

It’s a Dino love nest…

We had dinosaur for dinner last night. We call them chickens now.

If they can wait for her to have a bunch of babies, they will have plenty to eat.

In reality, snake parents don’t look after their offspring after they hatch. Most of the time, mother snakes lay their eggs and then let nature take its course. By reproducing this way, mother snakes do not have to use as much energy caring for their young, which allows them to go on and have many babies or clutches of eggs throughout their lifetime.

There are a few exceptions, such as African rock pythons, that stick around the nest after birth, and certain species such as rattlesnakes, anacondas, and sea snakes give live birth. But in some cases, if mother snakes don’t leave the nest before birth, they are likely to EAT their offspring!

Go for the small one, it more tender!!!

OR you are very wise to not go after a Gigantasaurus Momma…..
