I’ve had fresh grilled sardines with olive oil and lemon juice in Italy and it was almost a transcendant experience, because I thought canned sardines tasted … musty or something … unpleasant.

Simple math.

Pizza = 1

Sardine = 0

Pizza x Sardine = 0

Pizza – Sardine = 1

I like anchovies on pizza. Using sardines instead never occurred to me. And now that it’s been mentioned…nope.

Last time I had sardines was the time I first tried pot. Munchies!

I had Eggplant Pizza on Pi day. Great hot – not so great cold.

Mix them with smashed boiled egg (think egg salad), a bit of mustard, and some Miracle Whip, eaten on a cracker. Delish!

Can’t say I’ve ever heard of sardines on pizza. Anchovies, yes (which I like).
