Franklin was an amazing guy. Interestingly, however, the refused to have his children vaccinated for smallpox. Oh well, nobody gets it right every time.
It wasn’t the domestic turkey that Franklin fancied, but the Wild Turkey.From what I’ve seen of this country, there’s enough Wild Turkey being consumed to make it the National Beverage if not the National Bird.
