Almost all animals are lactose intolerant. While the poop eating is disgusting, there is nothing in poop but the stuff the body didn’t need nutritionally. The cheese is absolutely the culprit here.
One of the side effects of a dog eating cheese is gas. You don’t want your cheese eating dog in the same county much less your house!
