As a housekeeper, I’ve gotta side with Red here…Yes, it’s my job to clean, after guests have left. Occasionally we’ll need to clean for those staying an extra week, in which case we don’t touch the guests things. At all. Unless of course there’s clothing or such on the beds I need to re-make, in which case I try to put the clothes back exactly as I left them. It’s not our job to tidy up/organize their things, no matter how disorderly they may be. Our job is to scrub bathrooms, make beds, vaccuum, sweep, etc. You want clutter cleaned up/organized, hire an organizer or do it yourself. Apologies if this comes across as harsh or picky on my part, but it’s the truth. Housekeepers should only have to deal with your personal things if you’re their only clients/customers. Otherwise, anything extra is taking time away from the next place they have to be. Rant over. :)

It is just as annoying to clean a home that doesn’t need it as it is to clean a home that makes a pig sty seem neat.

A barista has a cleaning lady?

It’s not generally a cleaning lady’s job to pick up your mess. You’re thinking of a wife.
