It comes with the territory, Baldo. Same with DJing. You gotta lug speakers, turntable cases, etc., etc. I’ve been a roady so I know what it’s like to carry heavy equipment especially up flights of steps. But you have to concentrate on performing for your audience and putting on a great show! Then it will make all that hard work worth while! You should try and get some friends to help you. Worse case scenario being that you’d have to hire one or two guys.
My teacher would lose ten pounds in a single night singing opera. And harps are pretty tricky to get up a staircase with angles (though they’re lighter than they look). Same with kettledrums and double basses.

well, the solid state “modeling” amps are much lighter than the tube amps.
