    Back in the 70s a young fig tree I had was blown over during a hurricane. Did just fine in its new position, just looked a bit strange.

    Actually, I once taped a broken tomato plant back together and it did JUST FINE! Same way with one of my cucumber plants.

    @Sheilamy exact thoughts, if it can’t be fixed with duct tape and WD40, household staples,it is not worth the effort to repair,

    We had a dogwood which was nearly broken in two by another tree falling on it. Since we figured there was nothing to lose, we fixed wrapped it back together with duct tape. That was 4 years ago. The tree is growing fine and has bloomed every year since.
