Years ago, when I first got a VCR, I taped a special for my mom to watch on her day off. I left instructions on how to use VCR remote. When I got home from work, she told me she pushed the power button and then play, but nothing happened.I told her she had to use the remote for the VCR, not the stereo.
I finally bought a Logitech Universal remote. Not a solution for the non-technical, mind you, as programming the device can take a bit of work (it depends on how old your devices are). But, now that I have it, being able to use a single control to manage multiple devices? I’d never go back to the half dozen that I have in the cabinet.

Sounds like me, Ben’s not tech savy.
