That’s my mother. She told us to eat what we were given, but then she protested about her food. And she hated chicken. My first taste of broccoli and peanut butter was at someone else’s house.
Sounds like my husband! “Chicken again??!” Me: Well, it was that or pork chops…Him: Chicken is fine. He dislikes pork chops more. He usually doesn’t complain too much because it’s never plain old chicken. It’s all in how you cook it. ;)
@lightenup:chicken satay with brown rice (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Raisin-and-Spice-Brown-Rice/Detail.aspx) and garlic broccoli might be an interesting combination. Might need a more subtle tasting dessert.

Appreciate it, Ben, appreciate it. @lightenup – thanks for clarifying that. I was starting to gag.
