I remember one year when my little sister left out milk and cookies for Santa. The rest of us were older so had stopped believing. The next morning there was an empty plate and glass and a thank you letter from “Santa” for the milk and cookies. My brother had written it and we were very proud of him. It meant a lot to my sister.
