I love not digging into my purse for my car keys. They have sunk to the bottom. But it’s annoying when my purse is sitting in the grocery carriage and I can’t open the car because supposedly the purse is too far away, even though it’s about 2 feet. So now I have to pick up the purse and hold it near the car. I don’t think I’m saving any time here.
Long, long ago, when I was “between husbands” I dated a police officer, who told me to never, ever put my keys in my purse. If somebody grabs your purse, they have your car keys, your house keys, and your address. You can’t get home in time to stop them from cleaning the house. Put your keys in your coat pocket, hang them from your wrist with one of those springy things, something, but not in your purse.
I have a metal ring in or on all my crossbody purses to clip my keys on. I always know where my keys are. Of course, in a small purse, it is harder to lose stuff in the clutter because there is no room for clutter.
Oh Ben you having one of those days where nothing goes right (as one of the comedians on Bob & Tom used to say) only he did it in song; which was a very funny one.
I do most of my work on a laptop in my recliner because of back problems. I’ve gone back to a wired mouse because I run it on the arm of the chair and when it dives off the side I can pull it back up by its tail.

To women: wear clother with pockets! Leave your purse at home.

It helps to be a bit more organized.
But then I saw a T-shirt that read, “Organized people are just too lazy to look for things”. So I guess I’m lazy after all.
