I talk to dogs all of the time.. Way better than their humans.

Dogs DO attract women!

yesterday I realized that people are always commenting on how beautiful my dog is. They never comment on how beautiful I am. And the dog doesn’t even care.

It’s a common response when you’re out walking and come across a dog and it’s owner. By focusing on the dog the owner isn’t as intimidated by a strangers approach. I’m a friendly sort and like to say hello. I almost always greet the dog first then look at the person walking to say hello to them and make a comment about their dog. I get that in this case that didn’t happen. Awkward.

Works the other way, too. I stopped to talk to the neighbor on my way out to take my cat for a walk. She came back several times, making herself obvious, until I got the hint, excused myself to the neighbor, and continued our walk.

She was probably afraid you might bite.

I think she heard Ben, and is teasing him.
