And today it was announced that commercial foods will have their salt content reduced. It is easy to get addicted to salt. The more you eat the less salty foods taste.

How many thousands of years have people been saying “things aren’t as good as they were when I was young”, I wonder?

Yup Ben it isn’t like it used to be. We watch the old shows we watched that were good. We bought the ones we like and are in our catalog of shows. We listen to the oldies stations we have here thank goodness several of them. Yup Ben don’t make things like they used to back in the days. Yup chicken isn’t as good too.

I see the comments here on gocomics from my fellow oldsters that think everything now is trash

Don’t know if its sad or funny

The world isn’t the same one we grew up in and our tastes are not what business and entertainment cater to anymore

A lot of things in our modern society are good and pleasurable, crabby old folks just don’t want to see them

There’s a lot of young people that like movies, music,tv shows, etc. from the 1970s to the 1990s.I’ve seen teenagers and people in their 20s at concerts and the musicians on stage were in their 50s and 60s.one guy told me he was born at the wrong time.

“this chicken we’re having is full of hormones”:

All of my recipes for chicken are for either a 2.5-3.5 lb whole chicken, or 4 oz boneless/skinless brst halves. None of the grocery stores near me carry a whole chicken under 4.5lb or brst halves under 8 oz.

Is she rolling her eyes because she’s tired of his complaining (he’s been doing it for four straight panels) or because she’s afraid that he’ll discover that she started buying him low-salt salt?
