The only way to make good popcorn is by using an iron skillet on the stove top.

I used to love making “Jiffy Pop”….watching that foil bubble grow. Do they still sell this?

An actual quote from a college course – "How did people make it through the Great Depression? Grandma knew how to do stuff. "

The cheddar flavored popcorn in a bag is pretty good, and no old maids.

I’ve always made popcorn on top of the stove. It is cheaper than the microwave variety without the questionable chemicals added.

My great grandkids were astounded to learn you could make ice cubes from scratch.

It’s what we use to do before there was cool stuff to make it.

I made popcorn for my daughter and her friends when they came over for a TV show they watched every week. The friends had no idea there was popcorn that didn’t come out of the microwave. I never allowed microwave popcorn in the house. Now, all the friends make popcorn on the stove top. I use a big stockpot with a vented glass lid, cooked in grapeseed oil.
