I used to do something like this. I would read my Saturday newspaper at the local diner, and often not finish it all. I’d stick what I hadn’t read into my backpack or briefcase (back in the day) for next time, and a month or two later I’d have pages and pages and pages of assorted weeks’ papers to read. Nowadays I read the Saturday paper online via an app, and what I don’t read vanishes a month or two later when I delete the file to free up some room on m iPad.

Appreciate the newspaper while you can. Do the crossword first, and hope you can find the answers in the next edition

At that age, nearly every chore begets either another chore or another project, or two. Don’t ask how I know.

Most papers have cut the comic section….the best part of the paper!

As a kid, that was me – every time my Dad would ask me to make a fire, I’d get caught up reading the paper.
